This guide will explain persistent links in library resources and how to utilize them, such as in a D2L course page.

Creating Persistent Links to Cochrane Library Articles

Linking from the Cochrane Library

 

Navigate to the article or trial you wish to link to.

 

To find the persistent link for articles: It is located under the title.  See image below

Copy and paste the link into the course management system.  No need to add proxy prefix.  It is already included in the permalink

Example:

 Arroll, B., & Kenealy, T. (2005). Antibiotics for the common cold and acute purulent rhinitis. Cochrane database of systematic reviews (Online), (3), CD000247. doi:10.1002/14651858.CD000247.pub2 https://doi-org.usd.idm.oclc.org/10.1002/14651858.CD000247.pub3
