The Norway Township papers are divided into seven series: Calendars, Catalogs, Correspondence, Ephemera, Manuals, Printed Materials, and Subject Files.
The Calendars series contains the First Judicial Circuit Court Calendar that list Petit Jury for Clay County, SD - October Term, 1918.
The Catalogs series contains the Russell Road Building Machinery, Culverts, Bridges Catalog from the Russell Grader MFG Co. of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The Correspondence series contains two items: a letter to William Larson from Iven Hanson and a letter from the Office of Tax Commission, Pierre, South Dakota.
The Ephemera series contains three used envelopes.
The Manuals series contains two manuals. The Revised Township Manual for the State of South Dakota, ca.1912, has chapter titles such as Election and Right of Suffrage, Civil Township Government-Organization-Division-Dissolution, etc. A Manual of the Township and Road Laws of the State of South Dakota, 1915, has annotations of Supreme Court decisions and rulings by the attorney general and includes laws of 1915 relating to townships.
The Printed Materials series contains three items: a Norwegian Newspaper “Husbibliothek” (meaning Library House), a preservation copy of this newspaper on acid-free paper, and a booklet with the complete set of South Dakota Township required forms.
The Subject Files series consists of: 1) Annual Reports; 2) Annual Town Meetings; 3) Town Officials; 4) Town Polls/Elections; 5) Clay County Ditch.
