Subject Term Search Results

Once you know the database's subject terms, you can return to the advanced search page in Academic Search Premier and enter in the subject term without any quotation marks. You MUST select SU Subject Terms from the drop down menu on the right hand side of the search box. In some databases you might see SU Descriptors used instead of SU Subject Terms.

Every one of the 3085 articles returned in this subject term search is about the topic school violence. This is a much more focused search. Now you are in a position to narrow these results even more by (a) adding a keyword term, (b) making use of the different limiters located on both the left and right sides of the search results, or (c) doing a combination of additional keywords with the subject and adding limiters.
