This guide will lead you through the process of downloading, installing, and setting up Endnote on your computer.

First Search WorldCat

FIrstSearch WorldCat is compatable with EndNote.  Use the directions below to export references to EndNote.

To open WorldCat, visit the Research Gateway.  Click on W to quickly move to the databases beginning with W.

Click on WorldCat.

Enter your search terms in the appropriate boxes.

As an example, I will earch for Social Life Monkeys Apes.

You also have the option on the search results screen to limit the results based on material type.

Now, select the record(s) you are looking for by clicking the check box to the left of the article title. 


Once you have the references checked, click on "Export."

On the new screen, select the radio button for Marked Records from this search.
Also, make sure EndNote is selected. 
Click "Export."

In the new pop-up window, click "Open."

EndNote will automatically open with a dialog box for you to choose a filter.  Select WorldCat from the list. 
Click Choose.

Your references are now added to your EndNote libray.

1. Select the link to WorldCat@USD from the library homepage:

3. Within the item record, select the link to "Cite/Export", and then the link to "Export to EndNote".  You're done!
