Chronicle of Higher Education

To go mobile all you need to do is setup a free Chronicle account using your USD email address.

In order to set up your own account select the Chronicle LogIn link (to log into EZProxy you may first need to enter your USD username and password). Select Create a New Account.  Enter your USD email, select a password and click Continue.

• From your iPad -- Download The Chronicle’s iPad editions at no cost to you; instructions below. You can download either or both sections of The Chronicle.
• From your smart phone or tablet using the device’s Web browser. The new mobile interface makes The Chronicle easy to read when one is on the go.  
• From any computer, from any location in the world -- Direct access to Chronicle.com from any remote location without having to go through a proxy server. 

1. After you have created your free account (instructions above), download The Chronicle of Higher Education app from the App Store onto your iPad. 
2. You will be asked for your iTunes/Apple ID username & password.
3. Once the app has been installed, tap the Chronicle App icon to open the app.
4. Tap "Sign in" on the top left of the app.
5. Sign in using your USD account username and password. 
6. The Chronicle will appear in your Newsstand on the iPad.  You will be able to download editions to your iPad, and when finished, archive them so they are removed from your iPad. (If you archive an edition, you can also easily re-download at a later date, if you wish.  Archiving read editions will free up space).
