Summary |
The Alfred S. Frost Papers include manuscript, typescript, print and photographic materials pertaining to Frost's experience in the Spanish American War, the Philippines and the South Dakota National Guard. The materials also include correspondence with South Dakota governor Andrew E. Lee, autobiographical material, military papers, and scrapbooks relating to the Spanish American War, when Frost served as a colonel, 1st regiment, South Dakota Volunteers. Also included are newspaper clippings, poems and articles relating to life at Fort Sully written under pseudonym Corporal Dalzell. |
