Welcome!

Welcome, mobile computer/smart phone users!

To access a list of USD/Wegner Center mobile resources on your mobile device, type bit.ly/libusd

For the most part, mobile devices that support web browsing can be used to access library resources online.  Applications (or apps) are being created that will enhance/improve/enable use of SOME library databases and full-text sources.

This guide will point you to the library resources (that USD and Wegner Center subscribes to as well as ones on the open web) that are available for mobile interfaces.  In this guide you will find research tools, subject databases, multidisciplinary databases and much more.  You will also be able to find the following types of resources:

Websites which have been optimized for mobile devices.  Use the browser in your smart phone or other mobile device.

  iPhone or iPod Touch apps.

  Android apps.

Many other publishers and library database providers are rolling out mobile versions or smart phone apps.  Some apps are FREE, while others come with a FEE.  This guide will be updated to keep up with new mobile library resource announcements.
