Janet Lauroesch is an interdisciplinary artist based in Eastern Iowa. Her current works reflect natural environments around the world.
Throughout her career, her primary focus has been works on paper. The majority of her work is serial, often exploring close variations on a concept. For over ten years, she has enjoyed handmade books as a form that readily embraces multiple media and allows storytelling at an intimate scale.
Originally from upstate New York, she earned her MFA in printmaking at Rochester Institute of Technology, and a BFA from Syracuse University.
