When you have developed your research topics and found relevant sources it is time to use the information. Thinking about the literature review section of your proposal and dissertation, it should demonstrate that you have both thoroughly investigated previous research related to your topic and understood what you found. You should include the important authors that have done research in that area, and you should describe the key points of their research. The information in your literature review should then inform the design of your methodology and after you have completed your study, should help you interpret the results.
