Linking Directly to Resources; Individual Articles and Records

This guide will explain persistent links in library resources and how to utilize them, such as in a D2L course page.

Creating Persistent Links to Articles and eBooks in JSTOR Databases

  • Conduct a search.
  • From the results list, click on the title of an item.
  • On the right side of the screen, look for the link under the citation.
  • Copy the "stable URL" listed and paste it into document, LMS, email, etc.

Add in front of the record (not article) "Persistent link to this record" information
(remove any spaces in the URL)
