This committee is charged with undertaking activities that will establish a clear and positive image of the libraries and increase awareness of the scope of the libraries’ services in the university community.

Fill out this form to submit content to be posted within the Libraries' media channels. 

What are the Libraries media channels?

Example of advertising content include, but are not limited to:

  • New faculty and staff
  • High School groups visiting
  • Candidates
  • Exhibits (Banned Books, Student Art)
  • Events in building, that we are participating in, or that are related to our work (International Week)
  • Progress on Academic Commons
  • Database or Resource of the Month/week
  • Interesting or current research topics
  • New books
  • Bestsellers
  • New resources acquired
  • Resources cancelled
  • Faculty publications
  • ILL or other department stories
  • Anything that is new
  • Gifts added (Gauger & Daily)
  • Current Research Projects of note
  • Grants, etc.

Guidelines

  • Any permanent library employee may submit information to be posted at any time. Proposals from departments and units are also welcome.
  • NEW!! An award for the best advertisement, activity or event submitted each month will be given.

    • The awarded entry of the month will include activities consistent with library mission, goals and objectives.
    • Entries are reviewed and awarded by the Marketing & Communications Committee.
