This committee is charged with undertaking activities that will establish a clear and positive image of the libraries and increase awareness of the scope of the libraries’ services in the university community.

Where to Market Your Event

The following resources are potential avenues to help market events within the USD community.

Submit any information to be posted within the Libraries with this form.

  • University Libraries YoteNotes (4-Winds) kiosk in Academic Commons
  • USD event calendar
  • Announcements channel in myU
  • Aviso
  • Library "News & Updates" section of homepage.
  • Departmental or Graduate Student Listservs: contact the Subject Specialist
  • Posters, flyers, etc. can be printed for distribution at each of the libraries. Contact the Marketing & Comunications Committee for design and printing.
  • myU channels on Library tab: contact  Danielle Loftus
  • Facebook, Twitter, Blogs: contact individual accounts.

The Marketing & Comunications Committee is the media contact for the Libraries. Send us information and we will distribute news releases to the university, local, and/or national media, as appropriate.
