Scope and Contents

The William Frederick Fahsing Collection is organized into three series: Correspondence, Photographs and Printed Materials

The Correspondence series contains letters congratulating Fahsing on his good works on the reservation from various South Dakota politicians.  There are also letters concerning the closing of the Greenwood branch of M-Tron Industries.

The Photograph series contains photos of the Greenwood facility and the people who worked there.

Printed Materials series includes news clipping covering Fahsing’s life from 1948 to 1974.  These clippings seem to have been photocopied from a scrapbook.  Also included are sermons printed by St. Paul’s Cathedral Boston, Massachusetts.   The sermons cover topics about the mission and the electronics company at Greenwood.
