A very useful compilation of statistical information about the US including population, employment, birth and death rates, eetc. The most recent paper editions are in the reference collection under call number HA 202.U54x

This site provides access to statisitcs and reports on business, trade, and economic topics from US Government agencies.
Uniform Crime Reports
The FBI provides consolidated crime reports from across the country on this site. A very useful site for statistics on crime.
