DynaMed with AI Integration

  • Available on desktop or mobile device (follow up questions feature not available on mobile).
  • Combines AI with the curated content found within DynaMed (only). It does not pull information from other resources to formulate its summaries or search results.
  • Dyna AI utilizes a Large Language Model (LLM) to answer clinical questions. Search terms or questions are converted into a natural language question in order to develop an answer.
  • Abbreviations and misspellings do not typically pose a problem with the query.
  • Dyna AI will NOT answer a question if it does not have enough information from the query.  It will not attempt to answer a question based on prior training. The more specific question, the better.
  • Dyna AI does not currently answer the following types of queries:
    • Calculation of drug doses
    • Drug allergies
    • Pediatric or neonatal drugs (in development)
    • Drug-drug interactions (use the drug interactions tab in DynaMed)
  • In order to trial the AI component, you must be signed in to a personal account. You may create an account if you do not have one.
