Should I use Get Article Now or Interlibrary Loan (ILL)?

If you can wait up to 24 hours, please use ILL. If you need the article immediately, use Get Article Now. The article is free to you, but USD Libraries does incur a fee to get the article.

Why did I receive an email with the subject "Copyright Limit Exceeded" from Reprints Desk Customer Support?

This will not happen very often but means a librarian will have to approve or cancel the delivery of the article. Contact mark.schroeder@usd.edu

Why am I being directed to Interlibrary Loan instead of Get Article Now?

If you are directed to Interlibrary Loan, you may either (1) not have an account for the pilot, (2) have reached an article limit, (3) are trying to order an article already in USD databases, or (4) are trying to order from a journal that has not been activated for Get Article Now.

My article is missing supplemental material. How can I get it?

I clicked my link and the article won't open. It says I can only download it 5 times but I never got it.

It is likely you are running the Zotero reference management software while trying to open the article. You must turn off Zotero before clicking the link or the article will not open.

How long do I have to access my article once I receive it in my email inbox?

You will have up to 30 days to download the article.
