From the University of Chicago Press, this brief five-page online guide (link above) outlines the basics of "Turabian style" (8th ed.), which "are essentially the same as those presented in the Chicago Manual of Style, sixteenth edition, with slight modifications for the needs of student writers."
The purpose of this guide is to provide students with a basic introduction to citation style for social
sciences term papers. It is based on the 6th edition of Kate Turabian's A Manual for Writers of Term
Papers, Theses, and Dissertations (Chicago: University of Chicago Press, 1996).
