The purpose of this guide is to organize the most relevant USD Library resources for clinicians, students, and faculty within the discipline of Physical Therapy.

Where's the full-text?

From a citation obtained from another source, search the Journals List by journal title.  You can also search journal title in the library catalog. Older citations may be available hard copy in the library, if not available electronically. If the journal title is not found in one of the above, you may order a copy of the article via Interlibrary Loan.

 

Searching the Literature of Physical Therapy

  • Synthesized evidence is searchable in aggregated sources such as:
    • PEDro the Physiotherapy Evidence Database from the Centre for Evidence-Based Physiotherapy (CEBP) at the University of Sydney. Free web-based database with access to bibliographic details and abstracts of over 5500 RCTs, systematic reviews and evidence-based clinical practice guidelines in physiotherapy.
    • The Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews
