ILLiad: Importing Request Information to ILLiad

How USD students staff and faculty can set up an ILLiad account to order items.

Use "U Get It!" and Worldcat to Import Request Information to ILLiad

Rather than typing all of your request information into the ILLiad request boxes, you can use our "U Get It!" service and the library catalog to import request information directly into ILLiad.

For articles:

  1. If you have found the article you're looking for in a database, but we do not have access to it, click the "U Get It!" button:

  2. The "U Get It!" button takes you to a page which checks our databases for other places where we might have full text. If it says "No Full text available" click the "USD/Law Illiad" link to import the article information into ILLiad.  If you are a Wegner Partner use the "Wegner Illiad".

  3. Log into ILLiad. The request information should appear in the relevant boxes. Double check the information and click "Submit Request" at the bottom of the page.
