Directories are organized listings of products, people, firms, services, publications, etc. The kind of information listed depends on the type of directory. Organizational directories provide contact information, a brief description and history of the organization, and publication products by the group. Laboratory Directories provide contact information, a brief description including budget and staff, history of the organization, funding support and research areas of interest. Directory resources are 2nd literature

Biographical Sources

Biographical directories may list living or deceased persons, and usually provide biographical sketches about each entry including birth and death dates, full name, academic degree, publications, affiliations with associations and positions.
