Wegner Library Interlibrary Loan-ILLiad: Home

A how-to guide for creating, navigating and placing a request with Wegner's Interlibrary Loan System, ILLiad.

What is Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad)?

Go to Wegner ILLiad Login for interlibrary loan services.  Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is the process by which libraries share articles, books, and other materials.  ILLiad is a software system to manage Interlibrary Loan.  An ILLiad account is used to place, store, and monitor the status of article and book requests. Requests for articles typically take 1-2 days, but most articles come within 24 hours.  Requests for books typically take 5-10 business days.

Copyright and ILL

In accordance with Section 108 of the U.S. Copyright Act, the Wegner Health Sciences Library may borrow and lend materials through Interlibrary Loan and request scans of materials for the purpose of private study, scholarship, or research.  The Interlibrary Loan department reserves the right to refuse requests which, in our opinion, would violate copyright law.
