Nexis Uni database contains US and non-US news sources; legal materials; cases, statutes, and other secondary resources; and company and financial information on millions of United States and international companies and executives.

How to access Nexis Uni

Using this link to the library databases, click “N” to go to database names starting with N. Alternatively, search for “Nexis Uni” under the databases search bar.

How to use Nexis Uni

Search across all content types in a single search: Enter terms, sources, companies, or citations in an intuitive search box. Search across all available dates and all content types.

Guided Search: Search for something specific. News, a publication, cases, law reviews, company info, or country info.

Browse topics: Discover topics in Business, Criminal Justice, and Political Science.

Search Results

Filtering/Narrowing the Results: On the left of your results page, there are several filter options to narrow down your results.

Download: You can download results in different formats. Simply click the download button at the top of the document, and choose your preferred download option from PDF, docx, or RTF.

Cite: The APA, MLA, Chicago, and Bluebook style citations are available for each result. To access the citation, click on the "Export Citation" below the title of the document.

Look for reading glasses. Keeping track of which documents you have viewed in your research can be tricky, but Nexis Uni can help. Once you have viewed a document, a pair of glasses will appear next to the document in the results list. If you saved the document to a folder, a folder icon will also appear.
